Chicken breast with apple and bacon
My chicken breast with apple and bacon recipe was inspired by the delicious chicken breast, which Tirus and Théni like to eat either cooked naturally or in the form of wet cat food.
Like my other recipes on this website, the chicken breast with apple and bacon is only for human consumption!
Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken breast fillet
- 250 g sliced bacon
- 2-3 apples
- 180 g sour cream
- cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- butter
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Clean the chicken breast fillet, cut it into thin slices, and season with salt and pepper.
- Butter a rectangular glass baking dish and cover the bottom with half of the bacon.
- Place a layer of chicken breast fillet on top of the bacon layer, then grate a layer of apple and cheese on top of it!
- Season this layer with salt and pepper to taste, then spread half of the sour cream over it!
- Put another layer of chicken breast fillet on top of the sour cream!
- Grate a layer of apple and cheese on top, then spread the remaining sour cream over it!
- Salt and pepper the top layer to taste, then cover the whole dish with the remaining sliced bacon!
- Bake the chicken breast with apple and bacon in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius for 30-40 minutes! It’s good if the bacon is crispy on top.
- Serve it with mashed potatoes!
